There are no jump stitches. I stitched it out on 2 layers of WSS (Vilene) and reduced the speed of my machine to slow. I soaked it for 15 minutes so the ornament will be stiff when it is dries.

108 I have been machine embroiderying now for two years and am still learning how to digitize. How are you able to do designs with no jump stitches. What is the secret?
by dmuser 25 Nov 2008 The "secret" is to use connection stitches. This is not possible all the time especially if you are changing colors or doing parts of the design that do not connect to other parts of the design like facial features.
by lrichardson 26 Nov 2008 Thank you for spending the time to answer my question. In your work, do you always start in the middle and go out, or out toward the middle?
by dmuser 27 Nov 2008 Hi again, On the FSL I start on the outside in one corner. On regular designs I study the picture and start with the object that is behind the next object. It is hard to explain but each design is different.
699 How generous of you! Thanks a million! I have started to digitize myself and know how much work is involved in getting something "THIS" beautiful! Hugs and lots of Flowers to you! Mary
2225 Great job!! This is lovely.
18167 I just wanted you to know that I stitched out this bell and it turned out so beautiful. It stitches easy and with no problems. I've already made a few for some special gifts for family. I used Sulky white top and bobbin and the results were lovely. Thank you for sharing this design with us all...........Maria in sunny Florida

You can easily get conversion software for free (for instance Wilcom Truesizer, which gives you the possibility to resize as well - not recommended for FSL) and converse to a lot of different formats, but not to ART, alas. That company guards there software.
