put it inside a child's coat and then you can pull a hanky thru so they will have it when & if they would need it. 6 gkids will have this on their coats i am making them for x-mas anyway! thanks for the great design! grammy in nevada

I can see it added to an applique for a pencil or candy holder. Stitch as is cut out the centers.
Thanks for sharing!

I think this design would be good for strap adjustment on an apron or belt.

My friend names her arm muscles ('Des' and 'Troy'). I will put a name on each rectangle and add elastic at each end. She can use them to tie up her sleeves, with the names over her shoulders, when she is at the gym. Thanks for the designs. (PS. My muscles are called 'Flopsy' and 'Mopsy', and they don't go to the gym!)

I agree with you on the Flopsy and Mopsy, I just started laughing and couldn't stop. I must be tired, but it sure struck me funny and I thought it was cute anyway. Thanks I needed the laugh, LOL

Not being a digitizer, I fiddled around till I came up with something similar, but it took a lot of time, when I made about 40 commemorative badges on Army camo cloth for a fallen comrade when my son was deployed to Iraq. This would have been perfect! Now, maybe badges for kids teams, cheer squads, quilt guilds etc.

Thank you for the design. I think it would be useful in making a military costume for a child.

Thank you Meganne for sharing. Vertically for inserting ribbon comes to mind.

How 'bout using vertically at the top of any bag to make it a drawstring closure? Weave a ribbon etc. through multiple sewouts???

We're thinking on the same wave-length scissors, I too immediately thought of insertion ribbon. Cheers!

The ideas I've seen are where my mind goes to instantly and I am sure seeing this as a weaver open cut idea will end up couple other ideas as well. Thank you!

Put another frame around it, add a magnet and slip a notebook through it to stick to the fridge.
Thanks for the appliques.

i love the applique font you did.
you could use it in making a border, having it go like this: =ll=ll=ll=. sew 1 set = then sew the next set on it's side ll.
